Matt moved to Charleston in 1998 to earn his degree from the College of Charleston in Business Administration.

He then set his sites on earning his Masters Degree in the same field at the Citadel. Matt entered the mortgage industry in 2003 after graduating from Xinnix Mortgage Academy. To Matt, mortgage lending is not just a job; it is a lifetime career and he has soared to the top of the industry being among the top 1% of Mortgage Originators in the US.

He was also named in the 40 Most Influential Mortgage Professionals Under 40 and named Leukemia & Lymphoma Lowcountry Man of the Year. But of all the achievements he has under his belt, he finds the greatest satisfaction finding people their forever homes and making their dreams of home ownership a reality. His focus is on residential lending for purchases and refinances for both primary and secondary homes, as well as investment properties. He is a creative thinker who is persistent in finding solutions even in the most difficult of cases.

Matt is licensed to originate mortgage loans in South Carolina.
