June Events In Charleston!

June is here and it is already steamy! Spoleto is almost half way over, but there are still lots of amazing things to enjoy from it. Our very own Stingrays Hockey team has made it to the Championship Finals of the Kelly Cup. If you love our local hero Bill Murray as much as we do, do not miss the Summer of Bill at the Music Hall, where they will be showing multiple movies of our local celebrity resident, the Billster. Every Tuesday is Party in the Park at the Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park, following the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market. Here is your June calendar of events not to miss:

Our real estate market continues to boom. Year to date, we are up 10% in number of transactions and 2017 will likely be the busiest year we’ve ever had. Mount Pleasant continues to be a favorite because of the schools, amenities, and the proximity to the beach. The Summerville and Goose Creek areas are favorites amongst those with a budget looking for new construction with all the bells and whistles. These are popular areas for people working at Boeing and those who will work at the new Volvo plant. West Ashley is popular for its central location and James Island has always been a favorite for those wanting to be close to downtown and the hipster vibe of Folly Beach. Johns Island isn’t as rural as it used to be with all of the new construction, great breweries and restaurants popping up. The economy and job market are very strong. Volvo is starting to build their plant west of the Summerville/Goose Creek areas and we’ve created an entirely new exit off I-26 to handle the influx of people coming to that area Charleston is also known as, Silicon Harbor, because of all of the software and IT businesses that have started up and relocated here. What an awesome city to live in!
